Nithya Ramanathan selected as a 2021 TED Fellow

Nithya joins the newest class of 20 global visionaries, sharing their big ideas throughout the events planned for 2021.

LOS ANGELES, March 30, 2021 – Dr. Nithya Ramanathan has been selected as a TED Fellow, joining a class of 20 remarkable individuals who are collaborating across disciplines to spark positive change around the world. Nithya Ramanathan was selected for her work as Founder and CEO of Nexleaf Analytics, a nonprofit using data and technology to improve the health of people around the world.

“As the pandemic continues to reiterate the importance of championing innovative solutions, I’m grateful for this opportunity to amplify Nexleaf’s work providing actionable data insights to improve the efficacy, reliability, and sustainability of health systems that can deliver vaccines to everyone,” said Nithya Ramanathan.

Nexleaf works alongside health advocates, governments, local communities, donors, and manufacturers around the world to provide reliable and actionable data for decision-making at scale. Nithya Ramanathan is a tech-for-good pioneer and a leading thinker on global vaccine distribution.

Founded in 2009, the TED Fellows program now has 512 Fellows from 100 countries.
