Anurag Mishra

Quality Check and Inventory Management

Anurag is based out of New Delhi and will be working primarily on Quality Check and Inventory Management at Nexleaf’s storage facility besides providing field support for ColdTrace and StoveTrace programs.

Anurag has around 5 years of field work experience, including working on a ColdTrace installation project in the state of Uttar Pradesh and on the clean cookstove project as a Lab Assistant with TERI.

Nassem Mohammad

Nassem is the Customer Service Manager of Hardware at Nexleaf and has been with the company since July 2022. He holds a degree in Post-Graduation in Middle East Studies from the University of Lucknow, India, and a Diploma in Hardware and Networking for IT. He has 16 years of experience in various industries, such as telecom, e-governance, and clean and renewable energy access. Nassem has hands-on experience in hardware installation and troubleshooting, market research, data collection, analysis, training, and capacity building.

Paul Mwarabu

Prior to working with Nexleaf, Paul worked with Vodacom as a call center representative, where he grew as a team leader and trainer. Paul has extensive customer support experience with organizations such as Wananchi Group Tanzania Ltd, 888 Africa, and Burn Manufacturing Tanzania Ltd.

Paul holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Dodoma and Post Graduate Diploma in Economic Diplomacy from Tanzania Mozambique Center for Foreign Relations.

Paul was awarded Vodacom Best Performer in 2021.

 

 

Sushanta Pradhan

Customer Success Engineer

Sushanta is the Customer Success Engineer for Nexleaf’s clean cooking initiative in India. In this capacity, he develops and leads the implementation strategy to bring technology solutions to rural households to address indoor air pollution. This includes engaging local communities, overseeing field testing of new innovations, and leading local capacity-building efforts. He is a main contributor to Nexleaf’s storytelling by capturing stories from the field and supporting content creation for the blog and videos.

Sushanta holds an M.A. in Local Governance from Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Chennai, and a Bachelor’s degree in computer applications from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. With his education and prior work experience on the issues of health and climate, Sushanta carries a perfect blend of technology and public management.

He is proud to be part of the Nexleaf team because the organizational values align with his own thinking on the importance of technology-driven solutions at the grassroots level. He also values the opportunity to explore new ideas and collaborate with knowledgeable and expert colleagues. In his spare time, he enjoys reading journals and articles, practicing yoga, and helping the needy.

Jill Moraa

Jill Moraa is a product manager. She is a tech enthusiast with a great passion for innovating solutions that directly impact communities. She is an agile champion and a customer-centricity advocate. She is also intent on building up the IoT industry in Africa to enable its incorporation into daily lives.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical and information engineering and a diploma in project management. She has experience in the telecommunications, power, IT, and IoT industry. She is a member of several women-in-tech foundations whose aim is to ensure that there are equal opportunities for girls in the tech industry. In her spare time, she is involved in programs that train young girls on how to write code.

Raphael Okojie

Raphael has been a product designer for over five years, working with B2B SaaS startups to create user-friendly solutions and improve design systems. One of his favorite projects was designing a smart filtering system for a shipping management tool, he enjoyed seeing how much easier it made things for users.

Raphael recently moved to London, so when he’s not designing, you can find him exploring the city or trying out new food spots!

Tom Mehoke

Tom is the Senior Data & Visualization Specialist at Nexleaf. In that role, he is responsible for creating information visualizations to enable the Vaccine Program and in-country stakeholders gain insight to help governments plan their cold chain. He is excited to help build sustainable, in-country capacity by putting the power of data into the hands of front line public health workers.

Prior to joining Nexleaf, Tom spent over ten years at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in the Biological Sciences Group with a specific focus on virus genome sequencing work. There, he was proud to help lead the development of in-country workshops in conjunction with the NIH Fogarty International Center to teach local scientists to process and interpret DNA sequencing results themselves across 18 different countries, primarily in Asia and Africa.

Tom has a Masters of Science in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University and a BS from Duke University. He loves processing large datasets to find interesting stories to tell, as well as helping others explore complex data on their own.

Brian Moenga

Brian is a front-end software engineer at Nexleaf and has been with the company since October 2022. He works with the product and engineering teams at Nexleaf to design and develop web and mobile applications. He holds a degree in Geospatial Engineering from the Technical University of Kenya and has a background in Geospatial Information Systems and Remote Sensing. He is passionate about using web cartography and geo-visualization to make an impact.

Colin Groark

Colin is a software engineer at Nexleaf, focusing on front-end development. Having joined the organization in 2022, he works with the Product and Engineering teams to support the design and development of web and mobile applications that deliver cloud-based services to users.

With a background in public-sector consulting and non-profit program management, his most recent role involved leading website development for local governments and transit agencies in the Pacific Northwest. To ensure equitable access, he keeps accessibility and mobile responsiveness top of mind when designing and building products.

Colin has an MPA from the University of Washington, Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, and a BA in International Studies and Spanish from Trinity College. Having lived in a handful of countries in South America, Asia, and East Africa, he knows a bit of Swahili and Japanese and would love to get back to fluency in Spanish someday.

Innocent Kithinji

Innocent is a backend software engineer driven by a passion for utilizing technology for positive change. At Nexleaf Analytics, he’s committed to leveraging data and technology to improve health outcomes.

Innocent has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and over four years experience in various industries, including fintech, insuretech, esigning and news aggregation. Innocent is fascinated by the transformative power of technology to address complex challenges and drive meaningful societal impact.

In his spare time, Innocent enjoys hiking, playing chess, and volunteering at local community centers.
